Coast/Beach
The Vilamoura and Quarteira beaches are a 5 minute drive away whilst the private Vila Sol beach and beach club at Ancao is 15 minutes away by car. The beautiful resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are also 15 minutes away whilst the sandy Islands near Tavira are well worth the 30 minute drive.

Travel
Vila Sol village is only 20-25 minutes (20km) away from Faro International Airport. A taxi can be hired from the airport (approximately 30 Euros). There are several reputable and reasonable car hire companies at the airport which can be booked locally or in advance over the internet. Car hire (with air-conditioning) is recommended.
